為了更好的理解和翻譯，很多的研究者和翻譯家都有圍繞這一主題進行探討，作者在對此進行了分析并表述菜肴背后所隱藏的文化信息。首先，分析國內情況以及相關文獻，并總結了中式菜肴的特點，提出了一些原則及翻譯方法。該論文旨在促進中式菜肴在翻譯水平的提升，并希望對此方向有研究興趣的英語學習者提供參考。
